Julie Stark

Julie will be playing the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella at the Wolverhampton Grand this panto season.

Julie has performed in many musicals throughout her career, both in the West End and touring the UK.  She got her break in We Will Rock You in London's Dominion Theatre, and has since  returned to appear in Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell.

Julie had been a big fan of the iconic Les Miserables since it started, so it was a great day when she was cast in the 25th Anniversary tour, and subsequently, the feature film.  Other  shows include Chess, City of Angels, The Witches of Eastwick, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Love Story, Shout and Sleeping Beauty (panto).  Julie has appeared in several short films and she has narrated many audio books.

As a singer, Julie started out fronting many soul, disco and funk bands, and still does this today, alongside pop and rock bands.  She has performed as both Agnetha and Freda in many Abba tributes, rocked huge crowds whilst performing with The Music of Queen, and appeared as a solo artiste at functions, casinos, clubs, restaurants and on the occasional ship.  She has sung all over the UK and has also appeared in America, the Middle East, Mexico, and many European countries. She performed at the 02 in the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary concert, and has backed names such as Kenny Thomas, Thelma Houston and Jaki Graham.  She also sings with ‘Vocally Bespoke’ - a contemporary choir.
